Its potent mix of anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, and insect-repelling essential oils calms allergic reactions to midge bites, reduces itch, exfoliates dead skin, and aids healing. The formula forms a protective barrier against dirt, bacteria, and irritants, helping prevent secondary infections while supporting skin regeneration.

For Orf, Herbal Xtra offers antiviral, antiseptic, and anti-inflammatory benefits, providing relief and protection alongside veterinary antibiotic therapy.

Directions of use:

  • Sweet Itch: Begin by bathing the affected area with Herbal Wash diluted in warm water, then massage Herbal Xtra into the skin to soothe irritation and protect against further discomfort. For best results, repeat the treatment five to six times over a two-week period.

    Orf: Wearing protective gloves, massage Herbal Xtra into the affected area. When applied at the first signs of Orf, such as newly appearing spots, it can stop the condition immediately. For more advanced cases with open, infected pustules, apply once daily for 3-7 days alongside an antibiotic injection as directed by a vet. Herbal Xtra is ideal for Orf sores on teats, giving immediate pain relief while fighting infection, and is gentle enough to use on the sensitive gums of young lambs affected by Orf.

    Sore/ Cracked teats: Apply once daily.
